Custom MAC Quad...what e/s would you choose?

I currently don't own any MAC single shadows and want to start building my collection, so thought it would be a good idea to start with a quad (If i got a 15 pan palette I'd want to fill it up straight away and that would not be good for the old bank balance!)

One shadow I'm, 100% positive I'm going to get All That Glitters but was wondering what colours would you recomend to go with that shade? Idely(sp?) there would be a highlight, crease colour etc...

In the future I'd love to have a 15 pan neutral palette but think this is a good way for me to start...

You can go for so many different and ownderful looks with All That Glitters...
Two great options that come to mind are:
Jest, Cork, Vanilla
Expensive Pink, Sable, Shroom

I've just set up a quad for daytime makeup with Nylon, All that Glitters, Woodwinked (my new favouritest mac shadow ever!!!) and Mulch. I might swap Vanilla in for Nylon though as I'm not sure that nylon is the best highlighter with this combo.

i agree with SpringDancer's suggestions.
Expensive Pink was the first thing that came to mind. there's also Honeylust, but i can't remember how close it is to All That Glitters.

there are quite a few other purples that would look great with it, but for the life of me i can't remember the names of any of them (i'd recognize them by sight only).
if it helps, they're usually on the bottom left row of the eyeshadow stand, lol

I'd say:

Vanilla - All that glitters - Sable - Carbon (can't go wrong with it.. everyone needs a black in their eyeshadow collection

)

If you don't want a black.. go with something like 'brun'. its a very very dark brown, I use it to line my eyes if I want a softer look. Great for filling in the brows too (depending on your hair color).

I'd suggest Vanilla, Cork, and Handwritten to complete your palette. I like ATG but because it's so shimmery, I like to pair it with satin or matte colors.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS. Haha.
You could lay down Cork as just all all over lid to browbone colour to use as "powder concealer" and create a smooth canvas.
Then put ATG on the lid up to the crease.
Pop some Handwritten into the crease, and Vanilla on the inner corners (if you do that) and on the browbone and voila!

I think that all that glitters would go great with soft brown in the crease and blended in to the outer half
grab blanc type for a matte highlight or dazzlelight for a shimmery highlight
and then if you want to darken the outer corner grab mulch (this is a very warm combination)
but if you want to grab a liner go with either brun or carbon! (you could use either to darken up the outer v so it would be a win win
hope that helped :)
