dark gloss for my fair skin....yay or nay?

Hi!

I just found a sample of L'Oreals Cream Glam Shine Gloss in my InStyle and of course I tried it....
Now I dont know if I can work it for me so you have to help me...
If you think that I can handle it, please give me some advice for a MAC Lipglass/Lustreglass...

That shade looks great on you; I wouldn't even call it "dark." As for MAC shades, you might want to try Sunny Boy (if you can find it) or Ornamental Lustreglass.

thx hp11989....to me its dark! I usually like ylbb-colors like the Viva Glam V lipglass or the Flash of Flesh lipglass or glosses that are very sheer with some shimmer like the Garden Lustreglass
I'm not used to colors like that!
But I'm still flirting with Gitane l/g....

OK ladies thanks for your tips! Fortunately my counter had plenty of Gitane l/g and I bought one along with Rayothon l/g! I dont know if I should get Magnetique now...*next problem*

I'm going to become a l/g-junkie!HELP! I cant afford it besides my e/s-addiction!

I recommend this too - though it's probably better for colder months/nighttime wearing, it's dark yet striking.

I agree with Glamourpusskitty - the shade you have there isn't dark, but I know what you mean, I'm always so anal about my blush, asking everyone in the house to tell me if it's too 'clowny' or what!

Sorry, in addition to my post above, rather than edit I thought I'd post again: how the hell could I forget to recommend Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey - perfect for the lady who wants 'dark' because it's a great baby step towards darker colours! I believe this also comes in a gloss, but I have it in the Almost Lipstick formula.

I think it looks great! I'm pale but the darker shades look good on me because, well, I look sorta dead if I do a light all over look. I don't think thats dark at all, and if you bought Gitane I hope you love it!

It's not dark at all..looks great
