Dark ruby & teal smokey eys

I tried doing some differnet colored smokey eyes after visiting MAC today, so I made 1 eye with a dark ruby color & the other a teal.

what I used:
Ruby eye
Cranberry e/s
Bare Essentials Dark Ruby e/s
Orpheus Eye Kohl
A little Goldenaire pressed pigment to highlight

Teal eye
Big T e/s
Mancatcher & Crystal avalanche to highlight
Mystery Eye Kohl
Wait till Dark e/s

So let me know what you think..I like the teal better personally, but I think that with a bit of practice the ruby could look better

i agree - but i am totally teal addicted so .. perhaps we shall hear other positions *g*
and btw that means not that the ruby side is bad but is a little more blended i think and i like the result.

The teal one is great as well. I think maybe an even lighter or more sheer highlight color would work well, too.

Thanks everyone. great boost for my confidence. I'mkind of going along on my own just trying stuff out, if it is ugly, the only one that will know are my cats & peacocks...maybe I"ll try a peacockey eye..hmmm
