Department Manager Interview-HELP!

Hi,all! I worked as a counter manager for several different department stores about 15 years ago. I left the biz. and want to return.

Since leaving,I have completed my associate's degree in Business Admin. and have been working as the manager of an apartment complex. (I used to be licensed but My M.A. license is LOOONG expired.)

So...

I have an interview next week to be the manager of the (whole) cosmetics department for a dept. store. Can someone give me an idea of what a typical day would be like? Also,what kind of salary range should I expect? I live in Annapolis,Maryland. Also,any interview tips? I love the industry but feel like I have been out for so long...I am nervous. THANKS!!!!!!!

Depending on the store, anywhere from 45,000 and up, and your first day will probably be meeting big whigs and walking the store and dept.
