I was doing my makeup today and i had two of my pallets on my bathroom counter well i bent down to pick up my eyelash curler that fell outta my hand and my elbow knocked the two pallets onto the ground....i promis i let tears out! lol, as soon as i saw the eyeshadows go flying everywhere i let out a yelp, THANKFULLY though out of the thirty that crash landed twenty nine were still ok, except....lucky green, which only chipped of a teeny bit, prob is i can see the bottom from that chip on the lil side. Why did a LE shadow have to break like that out of all of em???LOL. anywho since they all had a hard landing about a three and half feet fall, do u think overtime they are going to shatter on me? you know like if the fall loosened them up and there waiting to break?? i so hope not.....

If they ever break up, just mush them to dust and add alcohol... let it dry and good as new

oh boy i feel your pain!!! Ive been lucky so far, cause Im usually clumsy as hell...But I try not to move around much when Im using my palettes...I almost dropped one of my skinfinishes the other day and by a bunch of inventive hand grasping managed to save it.
Those are crap when they break :\

I agree with neophyte, just add alcohol and let it sit and it should be fine

OMG Alley.. I am so sorry!!!! I would have had a heart-attack!! I feel ya sweeeeetie! Whew just one... that hurts enough.

a few weeks ago I had a big chip flying of my orange shadow, and I threw it in an allmost empty pan of gleam, and I mushed themto dust, and I added a bit of a broken sushiflower I had in my drawer. I added some alcohol and let it dry for 3 days, and it's an awesome color, like d'bohemia only brighter!

so the clue of my story, save the chip from lucky green!!!

I tried the alcohol trick on my Bagatelle when it shattered and it turned out horrible so I threw it away. It was like this 14k shiny gold stuff afterwards, not like the original at all.

I don't know, but I would be extra-careful with the palettes that took the dive, there is a chance they may be more fragile.

This happened to me yesterday with Sunsplosion - I was crushed. I didn't want to risk using alcohol so I crushed it up at put it in a MAC sample jar.
