Dewy complexion products?

Hello. I'm going to be getting my high school senior portrait taken soon, and I want to have a nice, dewy complexion for the shoot. The only cosmetics stores near me are Sephora, Ulta, and Sally's. [No MAC stores or anything.] Since it's coming up soon, can someone recommend me a dewy-complexion product(s) at the afformentioned stores? I won't have time to buy online.

One thing I did see suggested in some previous threads on the same topic were some people recommending an Evian spray sold at sephora, and MAC Fix+. As far as I can tell, these are basically just water in a nicely packaged spray bottle, the latter product having a little perfume and herbal extracts added. Would misting water onto my face with a perfume atomizer have an effect?

Thanks.

You could try adding MUFE Uplight Luminizer Gel to your foundation (it's available at Sephora).

It should add a glow to your skin and it comes in several colours and finishes.

Look for an illuminizing foundation and skip powder which will matte down the look. Don't use a matte foundation. If Ulta has Estee Lauder, try their Lucidity foundation and I agree about the MUFE Illuminator for highlighting. You might want to try out NARS illuminators in the tubes, or some of the multiples in Cobacabana, Luxor, or whatever matches best to your skintone. UD has something like Fix +, but I forget the name. Don't use plain water. It could streak your MU and make you look as though you wept down your cheek rather than giving a slight dewy look all over. Also look for blushes that have a pretty shimmer to them. Not chunky glitter but just a pretty satin-like sheen on the back of your hand. A lot has to do with your skin tone and if you are oily, dry, etc. as to what products will work best on you, so be sure to be prepared to do some swatching and move your hand about to see how the light catches it. :) Good luck and happy photo day!
