Disappointed with eBay seller

I purchased a Mac studio sculpt foundation from a seller in the US on 8 December. It cost me around $50 including postage (I'm in the UK). My parcel finally arrived today and she has sent me a studio fix fluid with no box which is so obviously fake and smells awful. Not only am I really annoyed about getting the wrong product, but she won't send out the real one until I post the first one back to her at my expense!

I've told her I'm not willing to do this and wait another month for her to send the right product out and I've asked for a refund.

I'm really annoyed though cos I was looking forward to trying the studio sculpt.

That's the thing with ebay..it's hit and miss, win some lose some.
I think you should get in touch with an ebay official for some advice, though. Find out your rights when it comes to dodgy transactions like this.

I wouldn't buy MAC products from eBay at all. I'm sure there must be some trustworthy sellers on there, but the majority of them are fake. I know there are ways to tell through pictures, but I figure eventually they themselves will learn what's tipping off potential customers and they'll get better at disguising them.

File with paypal first, then return with signature needed and get the refund.
PP will make her refund the $50 you will be out shipping back.
Then ask someone here to pick you up one when they come out and mail it, it'll be much cheaper.
