has anyone ever tried making their own lipgloss with mac pigments? i suppose it could work... i thought it might be cool to make a sheer, shimmery light blue one.. that could end up being pretty awesome, hehe.

and would anyone have any ideas for which pigments might be good in something like that?

thaanks~

Is there a pic anywhere of pink opal mixed with gloss? If someone has done this could they please post it? I've looked at some of the other threads and can't find pink opal. Thanks!

I make my own l/g & l/s all the time

Ive used glitters, pigments, t&t's universal color dust, herbal glitters, etc.
They make some awesome glosses. Ive used pink opal, depending on how much you use you can get like the shadebender effect. Ive used everything from vanilla to fuchsia

Ill try to take some pics tomorrow or the next day of em.

I love my homemade lipgloss with lip conditioner and pink pearl pigment. Pink Opal and clear lipglass make a color that is similar to Elle lipglass. Some other good ones are ruby red and coco.
I think cornflower with a touch of frost would make a very pretty blue.

Vanilla pigment with clear gloss looks shockingly like Headliner lipglass, which I love. Melon makes a pretty peachy golden gloss too.
