I've been wondering this for a while... the length between my eye/crease and eyebrow seem to be higher than most peoples
heres an example of what I mean (right side)

does anyone else have this problem? when I look at tutorials etc most of the girls seem to have a shorter legth (left side)
eyeshadow placement sometimes becomes a bit confusing since I have more space to fill out and I seem to have to go higher up and more heavy with the crease than everyone else

anyone have any eyeshadow tips for us high-browed girls? LOL

**sorry if i've posted in the wrong section feel free to move the post if I have**

I'd kill to have eyebrows like that. You're so lucky! I can see how it would be difficult to translate, but it means you have more lid space to play with!

Thats how my eyes are as well. I like it though. Its like we have a bigger palette! Can do more dramatic looks. I would rather have higher than lower. I think its easier to put make up on myself than people with less room on the eyelid.

I can still follow tutorials the same way. just make a few changes. maybe use diffrent bigger brushes on your crease and highlight area then they are using in the videos. But can still get the general look

Hope it helped a little!

I have that also. I have rather large eyes, but I do think it makes for nicer makeup application. I think we have more room for error (because we're working with a much larger space) and have an easier time blending! The bad thing is that when I wear smokey eyes in the daytime, it can seem rather harsh because my eyes are so prevalent on my face.

I agree with the poster above! The tutorials are easy to follow if you just apply the same techniques but adjust them for working in a larger area.

I have that same eye lid space. Trust me, I have alot of makeup artists and people in general telling me I have the best eyes for applying makeup. Check out a youtube favorite of mine,... probably u can get some hints. Her name is QUEENOFBLENDINGMUA. good luck.

I agree with the whole daytime smokey eye problem.. seeing as thats about the only look I seem to do! LOL
I find that it's alot more time consuming having a larger space to fill in though.. I guess thats the down side.

I gotta learn to embrace my high brows!

True, high brows rock! more space to work with

I had higher brows than what I have now, which looked weird on me long long time ago, but now it's fine because it's not too high.

I have this too, (you'll notice if you go through my fotd's). I always swap between liking/hating it, lol!

I have quite a bit of space between my crease and my browbone, and I love it that way! I feel like I can use some brushes with more ease and do some more dramatic things than others can.

What I do is just stretch my crease contour up onto the browbone more than most, and that seems to work well for me.

Also, I can't really do the lighter crease that some people can do ... so that kinda bites ... it makes my eyes look HUGE! I can see how it would be bothersome to some, but I consider it a blessing.

My eyes are also like this. Embrace it! Sure I'd love to have a deep, defined crease sometimes, but its not gonna happen. Might as well love what ya got!

YES! I've just recently started to do this and I must say it makes a big difference. I also find that a more natural browbone highlight is the best way to go. if my highlight is too frosty/shimmery it makes my brows look even higher (which is OK if i've stretched my crease up, if not.. aaargh!)
