Do I have to be an MA at MAC?

Does MAC (stores or counters) offer positions other than make up artists? Like cashier, or just salesperson. Obviously there's also the managerial positions. What else is there?

All the counters I visit, the MUA's ring up their customers themselves.

I've noticed that at counters too, but the freestanding stores I've been to had someone else ring them up. The one at Brea Mall (CA) has people line up to check out after they've gotten the products from MAs..

A few of the really busy freestanding stores here have cashier positions.

As the user above me said, only the super busy freestanding stores have independent cashiers. My freestanding store is pretty darn busy and we don't have cashiers, we ring our own customers up.

If a freelancer is helping someone, then they don't ring people up since they don't have an associate number from EL, they usually ask one of the MAs to ring their customers up for them.

I know MAC Pro in L.A. had some cashiers and also a couple of part time stockpeople.

i know there's stock people but those are usually like low part-time hours. not sure if you get the sull discount though.

there are also cashiers at high volume stores.

but i don't know if you go through the training and updates like muas

I have asked so many people at MAC if they had to have a license to work for MAC, like at Nordstrom for example, I know a girl there that doesn't have a license. I don't think you have to be a licensed Make up Artist to work for MAC.
