Does anyone else have this problem?

Half my hair is curly (like actual ringlets) and the other half is wavy/straight. Seriously...it sucks...why cant it just be one or the other (preferably all curly).

Does anyone else get this? Is there something you do to make all your hair curly naturally? or should I just suck it up and straighten my hair whenever or comb out the curls into waves...or just get a perm...

I want a perm eventually...

Little cute curls!

My hair is also mixed, except the top layer tends to straighten out or be really lose waves whereas my bottom layer has a fairly defined curl pattern. And then if I curl the top it just gets straight/wavy eventually and looks weird =/

my hair kinda does the same as yours.
Try using a curling mousse and scrunch it through the top layer, i find that this helps even it out a bit for when I can't straighten it.

...i totally have this problem too. the top of my head gets ringlets while the back and underneath has a harder time curling and usually becomes straight/wavy:confused:. my hair is naturally curly, so when i get out of the shower, i just let it air dry and do not touch it at all, and i usually get pretty decent curls but no volume. if i do touch my hair, or try putting it up, etc. the curls fall out and i get these ugly uneven waves. soooooooooooo....what i do to get some pretty gorgeous curls going is when i get out of the shower i towel dry my hair just so it stops dripping. then i wait a couple minutes and put curling mousse in it (i use garnier fructise curl control mousse in extra strong, bought at cvs or warlmart or something like that). i put it in by flipping my head over and scrunching it all in there. then every few minutes i scrunch until it's done air drying. hth!! and sorry so long winded, lol

i also just got a longer layer in my hair so this really helps make the hair less dense and easier to curl itself

I have curly kinda hair around my face when it dries naturally and more wavy/straight in the back. If I blowdry it it gets pretty straight though...

When dried naturally, my hair is stick straight near the top, then starts to get wavy and then suddenly flips out near the bottom (think 1960s Mary Tyler Moore flip)

Such a pain in the ass....even when I straighten it...it will be perfectly straight, then within a few hours in Florida humidity, it's flipped out.(literally!)
