Does anyone else-with MAC?

on ebay? Like if they see an eyeshadow or those 15 pro pans going up to 30 dollars with like $5 S&H e-mail the high bidder and tell them it's cheaper to just call the pro store or something? Or if someone says something is LE and it's obviously not LE e-mail them and tell them it's not LE and give the number to the MAC Pro store?

I think its the only option for some people though. Sometimes the MAC stores will not ship to overseas countries, while some ebay sellers might send anywhere.

As for the Le or super rare, I can't stand it when sellers do this.. I think I saw one on ebay that was titled "black tied rare eye shadow" or something that is sooo obviously not, its rude. I don't report anything unless its totally fake though.

Yeah, for me it's the only option. There is only 1 place to buy MAC in all of Austria and that's a two hour flight from where we live. So eBay has been good to me. All though, I did win a bid on 15 pan pallette with my choice of 15 pan eyesshadows to go in it and the woman never sent it. We got most of the money back anyway. So yeah, sometimes it's the only choice. Also, the store in Vienna does'nt ship orders from the store so I can't go that route either.

I wouldn't contact the buyers ever because that's not my place, and if it was fake, I'd just send it to eBay. The only exception I think would be if it was obvious the seller was inflating their bids with another account, or if I saw a lovely fellow Specktra/MUA-er bidding on something from a seller like runwaymakeup (AHHHH STAY AWAY). I'm actually really mad she made her feedback private because I used to read it for kicks.

i never go on ebay, but my mom's ALWAYS on ebay. she was looking at mac the other day for me for christmas, and she'll go up on the bidding to the price of the stuff directly from mac, but she won't pay more.

Some people just get caught up in the excitement of bidding and want to win whatever it cost. It's just part of the fun of ebay. Personally, I don't think it's anyones place to inform bidders of anything (other than something illegal) Bidders set the price for themselves and should go to the trouble of informing themselves about the product they are purchasing. Sometimes the value of an item is what it is worth to the consumer, and not actual retail.
I have recieved a few emails from well intended people informing me what I should pay or whom I should buy things from, and it kind of annoyed me. I know what I want to pay for what I buy, and probably had reason for picking one seller over another.

Yeah. I still do it though especially if they are in the US. There really is no point IMHO (ONLY) for someone to pay like $20 + $5 S&H when you can get it for $20.
