Taklon, IIRC, is a synthetic. If you're interested in that, that may be important.

I have one Urban Decay blush brush and a powder brush by the Body Shop. That's it. I use paint brushes otherwise. I find that they're just as good, cheaper, and they have more variety.

I have a benefit angled eyeliner brush and it's great, maaaybe a little scratchy.

The pros of synthetic brushes are that if you're using a creamy/liquid product such as liquid/cream foundation, or concealer, or even gel eyeliner, they wash out of synthetic brushes alot easier because thye don't get soaked up.
However, some synthetic brushes are not as soft as animal hair brushes.
I strongly recommend the too face retractable kabuki if you're looking for one, its so soft that it feels like kittens, but it's still synthetic and thus cruelty free.
