Does anyone use Mac nail Polish?

I'm an OPI fanatic... I have probably 40 bottles, lol. I use other brands too, Essie, UD, Sally Hansen- anyone that has a funky, interesting color that catches my eye. I noticed the descriptions for nps for Smoke Signals and Blue Storm and I got excited... but I never hear anyone talk about Mac NP! Even a board search didn't turn up much!

Are they decent? Decent texture, ok to apply, lasts an average amount of time? I have a million bases and top coats and am experienced at applying, so it doens't have to be fabulous to work for me... it's just that I consider OPI the best so I don't want to take a huge step down. But I LOVE to try new and interesting colors and finishes!

i like them...im also an opi fanatic but sometimes i wear mac np because they have nice colors
they last a decent amount of time w/o chipping

I use MAC nailpolish... I like it, but I pretty much only paint my toenails, lol. [I keep my fingernails pink/white gel manicures.]

They seem to last on my toes pretty well, but I've never used OPI so I'm not sure which has better staying power.

MAC does have some nice cream and frost colours which are easy to apply and usually don't need more than two coats. The sheer colours I've had some trouble with, they streak and don't apply evenly, no matter how careful I am.

I have loads of OPI too - and I'm also a huge fan of Sally Hansen, its cheap and I find that it lasts the longest over anything I've tried. I guess I was just wondering if you've tried anything from the new OPI Russian collection? I'm waiting for Ulta to do a promotion - but I also want to see what others think of the colors too!

I've only tried one MAC polish, in Molasses. I certainly didn't expect it to have such a thin consistency, and it took quite a bit of care and attention to application to get it to show up nicely. Very streaky this color was.

I also love OPI polishes.

i got five of the russian colors. i love them. we are supposed to have our nails painted at MAC all the time, so i started using opi and i am hooked. i use our nail lacquers too, but there just isn't as wide a range of colors as opi. i am loving the smoke signals/blue storm lacquers too. and they last just as long on my nails as opi does.

The colors look hot! I haven't tried any yet but I'm going to. The navy one, Catherine the Grape, Boris and Natasha, and the really dark Siberian one... they have all caught my attention.

BTW this morning I did my first tutorial in the How To section, it's on home manis, if anyone is intersted. I've never done one before and had to use my camera phone, but I did my best! At the very least, I included pics of some hot OPIs
