you go into the MAC store and the MA's complement you on your makeup? I had not 1 but 2 MA's at the Flatiron store today say i did a great job and it just made me feel good that my skills are getting better

Oh, and he let me see the Heatherette Collection while i was there. Oh my damn, stuff looks so much prettier in person, and im DEFINITELY gettin the lashes even if they only sit in the drawer cuz they are HOT. Lippies and the shadows look great but i most likely will get the one with the aqua color in it. Sigh, enough rambling lol, just thought id share my day.

Feel free to share your other "doesnt it feel good" related MAC stories lol

I love it when I go in and one of the following happens:

1. A MAC artist asked if I had my makeup done at the counter.
2. Another customer asks me if I had my makeup done at the counter. Then they usually ask what I have on and request the same thing.

It just makes you feel good.

I have several "feel-goods"

1) Panama City Beach, FL finally got a MAC Counter and I can stop ordering 99% of my MAC online or traveling out of town. Yeah! Yeah! The store is in a new Dillard's and the MAs are sooo very friendly.

2) I've been to the counter twice since it opened March 7 and both times different MAC artists have complimented me on my face -- even the MA at the Shiseido counter noted my "Teal" look. It put a smile on my face.

3) When I visited the counter Friday, they didn't have the Beauty Powder collection yet, but the MA told me all about the B2M program, the upcoming Heatherette collection and offered to schedule me a makeover.

I've not had my make-up complimented yet (but that's because I always go in usually bare-faced so I can try on products!). However, once I did go all done up, and someone mistook me for a MAC artist and asked me for help!

That made me feel good. lol. That I can be mistaken for a MAC artist.

It felt soooo good when

I went to the Mac counter at SAKS & they asked me what colors I was wearing...she loved my mu & my clothes

When I told them how old i was, all the MUA there did not believe me - i love the MUA at this counter - they treat me like a queen

And once a customer asked me if I worked there (I was behind the counter looking at the Fafi testers before it was released!). I was so disappointed when I had to say no.. I wish I did.

Yes! Once, and I felt so pretty that day afterwards, it made me all giddy inside. I remember I was wearing Satin Taupe and VGV lipglass.

The girls n boys at my favorite MAC counter always put a smile on my face. They always compliment me on my look and make me feel special. The last time I was there the new counter manager said that I should quit my job and come and work with them haha. I was really flattered and it made my day. What makes me the happiest, is that they always have time for me. Even if they are with someone else they make an effort to come and say hi. <3 them all!

I loved it when one of the MA's mentioned that she loved my makeup and then said to the manager of the MAC counter that I should work with them!!!And then the manager said that yes,I definately should and said that she would get me an application. She gave it to me and said turn it in soon and that she was really psyched about it-I walked out of there in a state of shock-I had a huge smile on my face

yup, ditto

I also find that they give you extra special treatment when you are willing to try more than just lipglass and pressed powder...

On different occasions I have been complimented on my eyeshadow... but i rarely wear other face makeup products. Other than that, I end up feeling like shit because I know I blew about 100 dollars.

My "local" MAC counter is an hour away so I only visit when I have to try stuff on, which means bare-faced. But the last time I went, the MA told me she would kill for my LAMB jeans and she was jealous of my whole outfit, which lead to a twenty minute discussion about Gwen Stefani and LAMB. After that, I would pretty much buy anything she suggested.

So take note, MAs, customers *can* be sucked up to

I like many gals here go to MAC with a bare face, but I happened to pop into Nordies one day for a little MAC pick-me-up and my Pegglesworth was there (my FAVORITE MAC gal)! She complimented my eyeshadow and liner combo and I about squealed like a school-girl.

I love it! One time one of the MUA told me to apply for a job at MAC. If I had more experience and was 18 years of age I would've have. Oh well, only one more year util then..
