Hey everyone,
so this thursday I finally have a 'gig'. Haha, I've been waiting forever to say that! Anyways, I'm doing makeup for a friend of mine, aswell as two of her friends for an under eighteen social. The theme colours are green, purple and gold, and they want to encorporate these into their looks. Unfortunately, I don't have the creativity to come up with three different looks, so I need your help!
I have a few in mind, but other suggestions wouldn't hurt

One friend wants gold, one wants purple and gold and the other also wants purple and gold. But a few looks with all three colors or any of the color combos are good, incase they change their minds.
So, as far as eyeshadows go, I have [only listing ones that might work, all MAC unless otherwise stated]:
- Gorgeous Gold
- Amberlights
- Carbon
- Espresso
- Bronze
- Woodwinked
- Retrospeck
- Shroom
- Phloof!
- Humid
- Green Smoke
- Antiqued
- Star Violet
- Mythology
- Shimmermoss
- Parfait Amour
- Earthly Riches duo
- NYX's Lime Green
- Clinique's Strike it Rich
- An e/s by Red Earth, about 1-2 shades darker purple than the earthly riches e/s and goes on a lot less sheer
- FACES e/s purple w/ some gold sparkles, similar to star violet but goes on about 3-4 shades darker
- NYC's wait till dark e/s, which is a mid toned gray
- FACES gray w/ silver sparkles
- FACES e/s similar to your ladyship, a bit more pink
- FACES e/s silver, similar to electra
- FACES e/s white
- Anabelle pigment, it's yellow but fairly sheer with lots of shimmer
- Annabelle pigment in prism, goes on the color of beautiful iris, possibly a bit darker

LOL sorry for the long list.
AND, any tips for keeping the colors vibrant and making them last longer? I don't have much to use as a base...I have Benefit's Lemon-aid, and some vaseline, aaaaand a glitter stick thinger...unfortunately no paints, shadesticks or paintpots

any other suggestions for bases?

suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

I would do a search under FOTD. You may find just the look you want for these young ladies or it may just give you some great ideas to make your own look for them.

It looks like you have a good stash to make the girls look fab.

I knew I forgot to mention something! I did do a search, but unfortunately didn't get very many results. I've gotten looks that INCLUDE purple and gold, but unfortunately are done with other e/s or pigments that I don't own

But thank you for your suggestion!

I always use the FOTDs as a guide for a look, but replacing the colors with ones that I have that are close or by choosing completely different colors from what I have, but using the FOTD application technique.

For example, a lot of pigments are used in FOTDs, and I have only 2 pigments (at this time), so I have to choose close fits from what I do have.

Good luck.

Get yourself some disposable mascara wands and a new mascara, unless the girls all bring their own. Also, rubbing alcohol to sanitise the brushes you use between faces - you can spritz it onto the brushes and then wipe them on a clean tissue or pour a little onto some paper towels and rub the brushes on that. The alcohol dries quickly so you dont have to wait between applications, it disinfects the brush and removes product residue from the fibres...

And its cheaper than going out to buy a bottle of brush cleanser

Thanks very much. I actually ended up finding a few things in the FOTDs/Tuts and just replaced some colours with what I had or even added some things.
And thank you Ella_ for the sanitation tips!
