Dramatic yet wearable faux lashes

Looking for some fake lashes - my first pair. I guess what I'm looking for is a pair of lashes that will make my own look fuller, more voluminous, but without overdoing it.

Going through the MAC lashes I was considering #2 or #21 (maybe #4).

Any recs?

Also, I was wondering if anyone knew of any how-to's or would care to explain the application of fake lashes.
