I'm having such a hard time figuring out what to get from the NN - looking at the swatches makes me even more confused! Here's my preliminary list:

l/g love knot
e/s meet the fleet
e/s illegal cargo
e/s pandamonium
pig lark about
pig lovely lily

but i'm still not 100% on l/s ahoy there - is it a glaze? does anyone know the finishes of all the products? i've searched online everywhere!

what do you all think of pandamonium and meet the fleet?

I'm not too keen on any of the shadows or lustreglasses and I already have Lovely Lily pigment. Sooo, I'm planning to get Mutiny and Bell Bottom Blue pigments and Port Red and Ahoy There lipsticks.

I took a class with Senior MA Romero Jennings for the MAC Pro Tour... and he was explaining that that get the product 6months BEFORE it drops for us but they working names. So he didnt know what they were called but he said the colors are AWESOME and he also said if you thought Fafi and Heatherette had great packaging wait until you see NN and SciFi!!!! Im soooooo excited

So the packaging for NN is going to be different than normal pkg?

I think I decided against meet the fleet seeing as though it is a matte navy. bleh.

I'm getting nothing, nothing, nothing. I've got a Macy's gift card saved up and ready for 4 Cool Heat shadows and that's it.

illegal cargo e/s
ahoy there l/s
ensign l/g (maybe)
and then just samples of mutiny and lark about pigments, i'd NEVER go through a full jar. i have about a billion samples and i'm not close to done any of them. (the only jars i've ever bought are sweet sienna, gold stroke and your ladyship because i could pretty much live with just those three colours for the rest of my life!)

Mutiny pigment for sure!

Submarine and Bell Bottom Blue are in the air until I see them IRL.

So that gives me time to depot shadows for B2M for Cool Heat!

Btw, you should add Dazzleglass to the topic as well. They come out same day as NN.

I'm definitely after the pigments no matter what else happens. I think I want all the lipsticks apart from Port Red. I'm not so sure about the eyeshadows...But the packaging sounds very promising

Course no idea when it comes out over in the UK yet...Probably June-ish now

I'm not getting a thing! I didn't get anything from Heatherette either. I'm probably staying MAC-free until Cool Heat.

Wait, chunky? What exactly does that mean?

Also, I was going to get meet the fleet but looking at it now it's so dark, I don't see any practical use for it.

Based on the swatches here, I have to say that the eyeshadows of NN seem like a bit of a let down. Maybe it's just the lighting and I will be utterly FLOORED IRL, but I'm doubting it. Submarine looks Ok, but that's about it.

I'm new to the wonderful world of pigments, though, so I plan on picking up more of those than anything else. I adore Mutiny and have been looking for a decent white, so I'll probably also pick up Lark About. I'm on the fence about Bell Bottom Blue, but I'll decide more as more swatches come out.

I'm obviously more of an eye girl than a lip girl, but I'm sure I'll pick up a lil' somethin- somethin from the rest of the collection. Hey Sailor! and Love Knot for sure; maybe Bateaux. As far as lipsticks, Party Mate looks great, but not spectacular. I like Port Red, but I doubt I'd ever wear it.

Some of MAC pigments are not as smooth in texture as others. If you are familiar with White Gold or Helium pigments (compared to say, Vanilla), those are a few that I classify as "chunky." They are kind of flakey, and don't lay as nice or "stick" well. They work better wet than dry. They aren't as fine a powder. There isn't any way to know what the texture of a pigment will be like before they are released since they aren't labeled with a finish like eyeshadows. I just find I don't use "chunky pigments as much because they are harder to work with and more of a hassle IMO.

I really like the look of...

Shadows: Illegal Cargo, Submarine and Pandamonium.
Pigments: Bell Bottom Blue, Lovely Lilly and the rest I'll have to see in person.

As for the lip products, I'll have to see them for myself. I saw the swatches and they look great but I always find that lip swatches are the most misleading for me. My lips are naturally very pigmented and what looks fantastic on one person doesn't always look great on me.

Weird, I'm new to pigments so I haven't heard of this, but that's super unfortunate if Lark About it chunky, because it's so pretty! Were either of the heatherette pigments chunky? B/c i bought both of them. I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to tell, huh?

No, neither Pink Pearl or Jardin Aires are chunky IMO. Believe me, you will see a noticeable difference, both in the jar, and in how they apply
