Dry Lips with matte

Hi!

Ive been really into the red lipstick lately and ive been using russian red, ruby woo or wild about you and after a few hours of wear my looks are looking really gross and dry. does anyone know How i can fix this problem?

Or try using a lip conditioner before putting on your lipstick

Another option is to apply a small amount of red lip gloss over your lip stick.

I use carmex under ANY lip product. works wonders

I use Clinques All About Lips, it exfoliates and gives you a smooth canvas to work on. For Mattes you cannot have chapped lips, so it's important to take care of that issue. Then I apply just a touch of chapstick, a smidge, then the lippy.

I just thought of this while reading your responses, im doing an online order soon and Do i need both lip contidioner stick and prep and prime lip or do they both do similiar things?

Clinique's All About Lips works great like ~Coco~ mentioned. I also use Aveeno's chapstick too. You can maybe look into lip primers. HTH!
