Early Buzz Regarding MAC Collections/Products Coming in '09 - Discussion

Fast forward to the day after Christmas: Lucky you, aunt Sophie read your Christmas list and gave you that enormous MAC gift card you were lemming. What will you do with it? Fear not. Once again, Specktra is helping you find ways to spend your money....

Aside from some hot tips that we have already shared with you regarding upcoming MAC products and launches due in February (like Studio Sculpt gel foundation and another little, itty, bitty somethin' somethin' you might of heard of....Hello Kitty), we have some prelim info on other collections coming in '09, as well.

A little bird whispered in the ear of Specktra and mentioned the following:

• Studio Sculpt Concealer to be released with Studio Sculpt Foundation (Feb)
• Creme Team (March)
• Grand Duo and Duo Sharpeners (March)
• Sugarsweet Collection (March)

By the by, word is that Studio Sculpt foundation and concealer will be out in early Feb, with Hello Kitty coming out mid-Feb.

Just a reminder that this is very early prelim info. Names, collections and info are subject to change. I debated even posting it at this point, as I wanted to verify further and get you some additional details, but Specktra knows you are hungry for the goods. Bon appetite!

Sugarsweet is sounding like our prom collections anniv (thinking balloonacy, sweetie cakes, etc)

Cream team... hmmm. I am thinking either lip or eye products? Or maybe skincare??

Could Studio Sculpt be MACs version of an HD foundation?

Grand Duos, being released with sharpeners - some kind of creamy luscious eyeshadow pencils, double-ended, maybe? That's what immediately comes to mind...

^^Thats what I was thinking!! Definitely has to be a pencil or crayon since its coming out with sharpeners. I hope it can be used as an e/s base, like shadesticks but a million times better.

I love the sound of Sugarsweet! Cream Team sounds to me like a coordinated something like lipsticks and lipliners or eyeliners and cream shadows...maybe more Paintpots?! One can only hope...

I guess "cream team" is not lipsticks or blushes and it's skincare, like somebody said earlier? and the sweet one is sooo going to be pastel eyeshadows and baby pink lip glosses!Or maybe a new flavor lipstick? DUDE, i'm soooo off base!

Man, I wish was this interested and this "in the know" about current affairs and economics!

I love to go back and read the early discussions on newly released collections (ie: dazzlelash, monogram) and read everybody's guesses about what the product will be.. sometimes I wish the MAC Pack would come on specktra and see the AMAZING ideas the members have come up with! (READ DAZZLELASH TO REALLY BEEEE DAZZLE-YY)!!
