electric eel or clarity???

Hi everyone

I am trying to expand my blue e/s collection. It is the only color that I don't have very many of. I am trying to decide between electric eel or clarity. I am wondering if you guys can give me your opinion on which one you like better or suggest some other MAC blues that you really like. The only really blue colors that I have are Fade, Tilt and Deep Truth.

I prefer Clarity, it has the great Matte² texture IMO.

I can also recommend you Freshwater.

Oh, and I love Contrast, too, for deep-blue smokey eyes!

Electric Eel is beautiful.

Moon's Reflection is a must-have blue IMO.

Clarity has far better color pay off because it is a matte2. Electric Eel is a satin color, so it has very subtle shimmer...not even enough to notice when applied. The colors are very similar, so it just all depends on which formula you prefer.

I don't have Clarity but love Electric Eel!!! I also really like Freshwater which on me is a little more blue as opposed to a teal colour.

Electric Eel is a great shadow-it has some shimmer atleast in the pot.. but does not apply shimmery on my lids (satin finish)

Clarity - To me its exactly the same color like Electric Eel just totally matte (in the pot and on eyes)- (Matte 2 finish, very blendable and buttery)

they both have great color payoff and both blend well but i think clarity is a little more blendable because finer milled

other great perm blues are:
Flashtrack: really dark blue, darker than deep truth (veluxe pearl finish)
Freshwater: brighter blue not to dark not to light (veluxe pearl finish)
Contrast: Very dark blue, kind of a violet undertone different from deep truth and flashtrack, great for smokey eyes (Velvet Finish)

electric eel is such a gorgeous color, but imo it's sooo hard to put on the lid w/o blending it all away, and the color payoff is poor. can't compare it to clarity though

My vote is for electric eel. Maybe its just cuz its been around so long, but i like it better.

does anyone else have this problem?
when i apply electric eel it always seems to get darker and look "dirty" the more i blend the dirtier it looks...its soo weird. this only happens to me with this color.
i still love it though, but its harder to work with in my opinion

I would have to say Clarity i like matte² better then Electric eel because it's a Satin.I think Clarity has a better color pay off too. Like someone else stated before i would also recommend Moon's Reflection it's beautiful.
