I got a sample of Electrolady liquid liner from MAC the other day and I was going to do a FOTD with my purples and I was so excited. My e/s was perfect.
Mancatcher e/s 2006 Lure collection on lid
Plum Dressing e/s Veluxe Pearl on brow bone

I added Electrolady l/l to my top eyelash lid and DUM DUM DUM... it didnt go on smooth at all it clumped up my eyelashes something awlful and when I tried to fix the lashes with a lash brush they wouldnt move. It was like they were frozen but in major clumps. I got so scared that they were stuck together so I ran to was it off and everything came off BUT the liquid liner... I scrubbed and scrubbed til my eyes started to burn. When I dried my face... What did I see.....

STILL MORE l/l I had to pick clumps out my eyelashes.

I will never use l/l again... I will stick to fluidline. Anyone else ever have that problem??

Oooh, I was apprehensive when I read "sample" b/c the liquidliners dry really fast, and I dont' know how well it would've stayed true to its formula as a sample. For application, I find it's better to use a separate brush b/c the applicator it somes with isn't the greatest, and it works better the more/longer the tube is kept sealed.

It's also a pain to get off IF you don't use an oil-based remover. Cleanse-off oil does the trick for most people, others have tried baby-oil, I've tried coco butter (veery lightly and carefully!). The l/l's can be really pretty, just be careful how you use them! HTH, and don't give up on them so fast!

Yeah, applying LLLs is a bitch! I actually comb my lashes down or get it off of them as soon as I apply it.

But, how do they "sample" it?

Yeah they gave samples at the MAC in Macy*s by my house when they introduced the Matte2 and LL combo. I never used it so this was the first time opening it and I was so disappointed.

How do they "house" the sample? It's tricky enough using it directly from the tube....

Doesn't seem like it's a fair evaluation of the product at this point, the launch of matte2 was well over 8+ weeks ago.

They aren't easy to remove but I'm guessing your sample was dried out to begin with. It would have to be used fresh to work well. Sorry that you had a bad experience but I don't think it's the product itself.

I hope that the sample bottle they were giving out was just dried out to begin with. I will purchase one this time and see how it turns out becasue I really liked the purple.
