well i purchased my emote blush today, and i tried it on at the store it looked brownish on my cheeks Note* i had bronzer and whats left of my previous blush color (that wore off during the day) on. I just decided to try it on right now with nothing on my face except my regular foundation, and the color looks pinkish now.. is this right? or is everyone else experiencing the same thing?

I HEART Emote.

with that said, I never experienced any pinkish tone. I know it sounds trivial but is your blush brush clean?

So this blush is still available? I've heard it was an LE item and it's sold out online.. Will it work for an NC35? Thanks!

i thought that was the problem too, but each time i use my brushes (face brushes) i tend to spray them with brush cleaner, then wipe them on a kleenex. but... i may have forgotten to do that today

i thought it was sold out too. but i guess they still have some left over dillards. i happened to just be strolling by and was just looking at the blushes, and i saw it, and i thought, hmm... isnt this from the smoke signals? the lady said that they have like three left over. i guess i got lucky lol.

I'm a NC20 but I think Emote would work for you also! Its great for contouring or if you just want a hint of definition in your cheeks.

okay so i applied emote today, and now it looks too brown on me, i used it to contour, and it makes my face look dirty... am i doing something wrong? i don't want to return it because its such a great color and its LE.

I'm NC35 and I use Emote! I love it sooo much! It's so natural looking. I went and bought a back up (my first backup everrr I never buy backups, but I will freak out when I run out of this. This really needs to be permanent!). I'm thinking of getting more! My counter still has this.

i was thinking maybe your to heavy handed with it. try a light wash then build up slightly. maybe someone can recommend a good brush she should be using!

I'm pretty sure it will (asain here too). I did a search and saw FOTD's of a few asians using emote. Hope that helps!

Emote will work on pretty much any skintone I think. I'm a C3/NC25 and I picked up Emote a few weeks ago. I loooove it, but find that if I use to much it makes me look dirty. You DEFINITELY need a super light hand when applying this as a contour. I'm talking just a light dab on the powder and then a light sweeping motion on the area you are contouring.

Ok, I was finally able to buy this today

(was surprised the counter still had it!!) It's a little subtle, but with enough application it works great! Thanks all!

Sometimes the change in color of cosmetics is due to the acidity of our faces. Maybe try using a good primer first on your face like Mac Prep + Prime before your foundation.
