It was only 90 degrees here today! I thought I was gonna melt again! This heat is ridiculous! It's been extremely hot here, today was acutally pretty cool compared to the rest of the week.

I would rather be freezing cold than hot!! Atleast when it's cold I can move around and do things to keep my blood warm and pumping inside me.......when it's hot all i want to do is strip down to my undies and lay or sit all sprawled out in front of the vents doing nothing all day!!!! summer = lazy time and inside time for me!!

My feelings about weather and summer depend on where I am. My usual haunts:
I LOVE summer in Seattle. Mild, no humidity. You can open up all the windows and go outside and enjoy it. PAC NW, Woot Woot!
Palm Springs, CA much hotter, but dry and everything is AC'd. Plus it cools off at night so you can open up windows and not feel like you live in a sealed can of AC air.
NY or Annapolis, sooooo friggin hot and humid! The air can feel like soup. I abosolutely loathe humidity. You shower, put on makeup and step out of the house or hotel and you instantly are sweaty and dirty feeling. Blaaa! I usually keep my AC at a morgue-like 67. Nice and cold. Again, back to my opening the windows issue. That is the thing that really irks me on the east coast. The heat and humidity don't disappear at night. You can't open your windows.
So, I just rambled on there, huh? Sorry for the nerdy dissertation on my weather preferences.

You are lucky. Across the pond it got up to 36 degrees at our place. Bleh, I hate this kind of heat. Plus I am paranoid that all my precious makeup is going to melt. I think I am going to do a rain dance.

Bleh! Today's high was 116 F (47 C) and low was 87 F (31 C)!!! Alaska sounds mighty good right now!

LOL I think you heard wrong, the highest ever temp' in the UK is about 39 degrees celcius. It'll take a few more years of global warming before we get 51 degrees c here! It topped at about 36.5 last week, still blummin hot for the UK!

It was super hot like that around here last week with humidity at about a gazillion percent. This week things have calmed down a bit and its only around 90 with the humidity at half a gazillion percent. Still hot but feels so much better compared to last week!
