evening out the skintone

This is more of a skincare question...NOT makeup. I want to be able to even out my skintone sans makeup. What do you guys use to fade your dark spots? On Nappturality some people spoke highly of Black Opal Fade System. Has anyone used this? Or anything else? I would prefer something that I can buy at a store. And not extremely overpriced. THANKS!

There are quite a few things on the market and they work differently for different people. I have used and liked sulphur soap which not only help to fade dark marks but also keeps ance at bay. I also have tried Nadinola Fade Cream which works a bit faster. You will notice a difference in 2 weeks. HTH

I read a blog where she said that for the last year she's been using Dickinson's Witch Hazel to tone her face and her skin has evened out to the point where she doesn't use foundation anymore. Now, I don't know the condition of her skin to begin with but I just bought some Witch Hazel the other day to try it out.

How funny I was researching this yesterday! After my second pregnancy, I have brown spots and just slight discolorations on my face which I notice most on my forehead and upper lip area. I also have a brown spot on my cheek from my first pregnancy so I'm really interested with what people have to say. I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed Tri Luma but it's $140 for a little tube and not covered by insurance. Needless to say, I rather spend that money on shoes and of course, MAKEUP!!!

I want to even out my skintone too, but not on my face, on my body. That's where my problem is. It seems like every body part of mine is a different colour. My face and neck are good to go, but I really need a good lotion to make my skin one uniform colour.

I exfoliate daily too, so I don't know what else to do.
