exchanging used brushes

can we exchange a used MAC brush for a different MAC brush? I have the 180 brush and use it but didn't like it so I was thinking about exchanging it for the 187 which is the same price. Only MAC employees in the United States please.

I know returning a brushed that has been used is okay so if that's allowed, I'm sure an exchange would be as well. Within 30 days or whatever their return policy is.

when did you buy it? do you still have your receipt? the 180 is a store/online only brush, and stores have a 30 day return/exchange policy and a receipt is required. if you fit both of those requirements, it shouldn't be a problem, but i'd call and ask the store first.

i bought it 2 weeks ago and i still have the receipt. i'm planning to exchange it tomorrow or Friday. i don't want to keep it any longer.
