Hmmm... somehow the pictures look better than me in real life. I spent forever trying to figure out what to do with MU. And then I realized that my new foundation (clinique) seems kinda off..too red for my skin. =.=" The Clinique lady told me becuz I have a yellow undertone and I have redness in my skin I'm supposed to wear a "neutral" foundation to even things out? @.@"" The foundatin looks really pink/brown/muddy in the tube... er.

FACE:
Clinique Skin Clearing Makeup (u never know, maybe it works)
Rimmel London Blush ~ Santa Rose
Rimmel London Matte Bronzer ~ Sunny (Looks alittle muddy in real life...hmmm..)

EYES:
Clinique Eyeshadow ~ Trio: Plum Seduction
Maybelline NY liner ~ Black
Jane Eyeshadow ~ Clubbing (1st time with black shadow... couldn't blend it =.=")

Lips:
Annabelle Rouge Velour LS ~ Angel (IN LOVE WIT THIS!)

I DEFINITELY don't agree with what the clinique MA said. I'm asian as well, and because of my yellow undertones, I need to wear a foundation that is similarly yellow based to match my skin color. clinique's foundations are notoriously pink-based in color, which is probably why she told you it suited your complexion.
lines that might have something that suits yellow undertones better would be MAC (though I'm not a fan of their foundation), Becca, Shiseido... sometimes estee lauder and Make Up Forever.
I'm personally using Everyday Minerals, which I LOVE.

anyways, now that i've said that, you look very pretty! I can't actually tell if the foundation's too red for you, but if that's the feeling you're getting, I say switch. But shop around & get testers before you purchase, but it's very likely that the shade they try on you isn't 100% perfect on the get go.

Thanks for the tip! I've kinda got foundation phobia since my skin is crazily sensitive/ acne-prone and I was told that Clinique was hypoallergenic/ non comedogenic etc... >.>"" Is there a specific one you can recommend? Sheseido seems so very expensive ... and I can't order anything off the net cuz I dont own a credit card.

I'm using everyday minerals which is ordered off the net - but if you have access to a sephoras/bare minerals freestanding counter, try going over there to try their mineral foundation. I'm quite acne prone too and mineral foundation's supposed to be fab for that. I was actually allergic to bismuth oxide (i think that's how it's spelled) in the bare minerals foundation, which is why I recommend just trying it out at first. You'd probably fit a medium beige.

If you're not, I've used estee lauder's double wear, which I've had pretty good results with, but since I've tanned over the summer, the color match is off. I've also heard amazing things about Make Up Forever's Mat Velvet foundation.

Shiseido is very pricey... Estee lauder & MUF is probably a bit more pricey than clinique - so I also recommend getting samples & trying them out in different lights if you're hesitant. Bare Minerals is quite decent price wise for what you get, and EDM is dirt cheap!

I can't recommend any drugstore foundations because I have yet to find a single formula that gives a good color match.

Also, if you're quite acne prone, I would also consider just laying off the foundation, because it might be further irritating your skin. You could look into just using concealer on particular spots? Laura Mercier's concealer is pretty good for that

wow! that was like an essay on foundation/concealer for asian skin - I hope at least some of it helped!
