I am confused as ever. I need help on knowing what I am suppose to do as far as getting my eyes ready for the main color of eye shadow.

This is what I am doing UDPP and then Bare canvas and then my colored eye shadows. I need something so the color is true and will last 12hrs
Then I ready that a shade stick should be used. So how do you guys do your eyes before adding all the colors etc?

UDPP+Paint is the way to go for me.

I'm thinking about changing to Eyeshadow Insurance, because UDPP packaging SUCKS.

Oh man, please don't put UDPP, then Paint, THEN a Shadestick on! Your eyeshadow will be like 2.34 inches thick and it'll get that scaly look. You REALLY don't need all those bases, I think either UDPP OR the Paint will be enough. The easiest way to get the colour to pop is to use a coloured base. I find the Shadesticks crease on me, so I'd use a Paint (or UDPP if you like) then apply the Shadestick, but don't apply three bases, that's just askin' for it, haha. There is a thread stickied on this forum discussing which bases to use to make eyeshadow colours pop. But yeah, mainly...don't use three bases, and you don't need both UDPP AND a Paint IMO. They work equally well, the only real difference is that one is coloured.

I use ultima II eye primer. It's amazing. My eye shadow never creases or fades with this.
I personally don't like UDPP. But I know ppl who swear by it.

I would just use 1 of those as bases, not all 3. Mac paints are awsome
