Eye Shape

Okay ladies and gents,

Not sure if this has already been covered, but tried to search it with no luck, and also not sure if this is the right spot for this post but how do you start to determine your eyeshape?

There are online sites showing you overly exaggerated round eyes, deep set eyes, or hooded eyes, etc...but what if your eye does not jump at you as being obviously one or the other? What are some good guidelines or helpful hints for figuring this out?

I don't have a lot of great tips, but I found that only when I first used my fluidline I realized my eyes were so round. This is because when I went to make a cat eye, it was almost impossible. On a round eye, the line will end up pointing down because there is such a dramatic drop from the top (middle) of the eye to the outer v of the eye. On an almond shaped eye, this is a lot easier because it is a smooth slope from the top of the eye to the outer v. Also, I have heavy lids, but they are not hooded, but they are also a little deep set, so you can be a combination of things, which might make it hard for you to determine what your eye shape is. Hope anything I said made sense or helped in any way!
