So i have (dyed) black hair, and my eyebrows are a sort of an almost black, not quite black though, like my hair, But everytime i fill them in with black eyeshadow, its to dark and i look rediculous, since i have real pale skin. but they need filled in at the ends a bit, so i was wondering what color to fill them in with? I was thinking of trying dark brown eyeshadow to fill 'em in

I have the same problem. Try using a more gray shadow or even a dark brown I use Brule and it works perfectly.

I have the same problem! I recently purchased a Brow brush and thought to try Embark eyeshadow for my brows and that turned out to be too light! And Carbon eyeshadow was the perfect shade but it looked a bit darker than wat Im' used to. Currently at the moment I use Wet and Wild Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown (652). And just shade in my eyebrows using light strokes. And it works for me! I think maybe u should get a Mac artist to help u suggest wat color for ur eyebrows. Go in with no color on ur eyebrows and get them to try it out on u and see wat works for u!

I'd suggest Mystery eyeshadow from MAC.
Its perfect for girls who have blackish hair but don't want to use a black e/s for their brows.

okay, so i am really excited to tell you this. I recently got to pick a Mac Pro artists brain down in south Beach Miami Mac Pro store. He was doing this older ladies makeup who clearly had dyed black hair but she had the most gorgeous grey eyes. anyway, when it came to the part where he filled in her black brows... i could have sworn he was using a black pencil to fill it in, until! I saw what it was. It was actually Engraved brow pencil. And it looked super uber amazingly natural. I was in awe. If anyone has ever seen engraved, it is a very light color compared to black. Well anyway, she was very fare skinned as well. I also have black hair and light brows, and I will deff invest in engraved.

HTH!
