eyeliner help for uneven crease.

so i know most asian girls have problems with their monolids but my case is kinda weird. on my left eye i have a crease, but my lid is still covered with more of my lid when i open my eye. on my right i'm monolid i guess, but then there's a line when i open my eye. soo when i put eyeliner on thinly, it shows on my left eye, but disappears on my right when i open it! there are times when i can get it to look even when my eyes are open, but it looks thicker on my right eye when i'm looking down. soo i need help .. do i just line it thin and just concentrate on my eyeshadow to make my eyes look more even, or should i line it thick? and while we're on the subject of my uneven creases, do you think the shape of my eyeshadow should be like that? or should i just make it more rounded w/o too harsh of an outer v to give the illusion that my eyes are more round? here's some pics of what i'm talking about ..

it looks fine when my eyes are down .. btw dont mind the hair, i didnt go out today and i was just bored at home lol!

and when my eyes are open it looks all wonky!

on my fotd i did, it looks kinda even, but when my eyes are down, it was kinda weird..

btw, i know most girls use false lashes to hide un-even creases sometimes, but i dont have time for that as often as i'd like since i have two kids!

thanks in advance for any advice/help!

p.s. my eyebrows are a mess right now, sorry!

Wow, i dont think your the only asian girl who has that problem, i know a lot who do, including myself. My right eye had a double lid, but my left eye didnt... But as i got older in my 15's and 16's my left eye got the double lid as well.. i know its so weird. I just woke up one morning and there it was.

As for your issue i can't give much advice, but maybe you can see a mac MA when you visit the mall and she can give you tips. But maybe i would try to line your eye with the double lid thinner, not sure if it will help but you can always try~ I think the shape of your eyeshadow is fine, and i dont think your V is very harsh either! I think its kind of unique as well as irritating problem.

BTW do you know about the scotch tape trick? Buy the stoch tape with the red casing instead of the green casing, because the tape looks more invisible. And cut out like a tiny strip and place it just above your lash line after you finish doing your makeup. The good thing is that you can pre-make those tiny strips and once you get used to it it takes 2 seconds to place on your eye. [if you dont understand what im talking about i can take pics !]

yeah, my cousin is like this too, but she isn't into makeup so i don't bother asking her! i was thinking of going to an MA i met when i went home in california b/c she had a monolid and the way she lined her eyes was nice. pretty thick and dramatic though. yes, i know the scotch tape trick but never tried it because i always forget about it. and also for some reason, i think that the edges of the tape (the tips of the "moon" shape) would irritate my eye! lol

I have the same problem, I remember when I first started wearing make up in junior high I though I was only supposed to put shadow in the crease and all day my friends kept asking me why I only put eyeshadow on one eye lol
anyways you could try the eyelid glue or sticker
I think you should also try experimenting with different thicknesses of the eyeliner, I line one of my eyes thicker than the other. I hope that I made SOME sense haha

lmao that's so funny how they thought you only put it on one eye! HAHA! i got a mental picture and everything. have you tried the glue or sticker thing? i usually do line one of my eyes thicker than the other, but people would sometimes ask me why i did that which is why i started this thread. maybe i should stop looking down too long so they won't notice. HA!

EDIT: sorry, i just re-read what i wrote. i hope you didnt take it the wrong way, but what i meant by it being funny and me getting a mental picture and everything is that i got a mental picture of them being confused about why you "only put makeup on one eye" when it really was on both. just making it clear in case you got confused cause i got confused with what i wrote myself!
