Eyeliner Questions

OK, I own about 3 fluidlines and a couple of liquid eyeliners. I ALWAYS just line my top lash line with them.

1. Do you line anywhere else with your liquid/fluidlines?

Secondly, I don't own any kohl liners and pencils and I was thinking about purchasing some.

2. Where do you use them??

OK I know you will be thinking what a stupid question, but I just want to see if people use them along with other liners, or for the lower lashline etc.

I've used fluidlines in my lower lash area and on my waterline, although I've stopped after a while because I didn't like the solid black that Blacktrack left on my waterline, it just didn't blend, even if it had awesome staying power. Plus, I'm not sure if I should use it on my waterline. I've seen people using fluidlines as bases for their eyeshadow application but I don't like the results all that much. It's a matter of taste.

I love Kohl, the creamy texture of Kohl pencils allows you to smudge them and achieve a wide range of looks. And they're usually waterline safe. I've used Kohl only on my waterline, to line my upper lash line as well and as a base color for smoky eyes.


Favorite Kohl products are:

MAC's Eye Kohl - I love the texture and offers a wide choice of colors.

Chanel's Le Crayon Kohl - Super creamy and glides easilly to apply, has a dense black pigment and it's my favorite to line my waterline.

Guerlain's Kohl Powder - Gorgeous shimmery Kohl powder in beautiful colors and has an amazing staying power on your waterline, a bit tricky to apply at first and a bit expensive when compared to MAC, but definitely worth it.

1. i only line my lower lashline with the colored fluidlines - i like Sweet Sage there as well as Delphic, Macroviolet & Brassy!

2. my favorite favorite pencils are:
MAC Powerpoints
Shu Uemura Drawing Pencils
Stila Kajals

i also like MAC's kohls, but sometimes i find they apply harshly and aren't as easy to smudge on my as powerpoints.

1. I use Blacktrack on upper lashline, to tightline, and to line the lower waterline. It stays on very well.

2. Kohl liners are really sexy on the lower waterline. They're usually very easy to smudge/blend out and can give an effortlessly sexy look. I hear Feline Kohl Power pencil is the blackest black ever, and looks super hot on the waterline.
