I'll try but I only have my crappy cell phone camera to work with.

Yeah, a pic would def. help. When you say a "glittery, frosty mess", I'm thinking of overblending, but I don't know, without seeing. I personally use UDPP for long wear without creasing. Water Base Mixing Medium and layering color helps it pop, for me. I know a lot of people use shadesticks for that.

Today my application was:

Beige-ing s/s
retrospeck on brow/highlight
paradisco on inner v
embark on outer v
brown eyeliner on top lid only
brown mascara on top and botton lashes
