eyeshadow brushes

hello ladies and gents,

so far i have got the 219, 224,239,266 and the 275 eyeshadow brushes

am i missing any other brushes? i went to MAC today but the MUA said i dont need the 217 if i have the 224. she also said that i can use the 224 for applying shadow to the lid, creae, blending and for a highlight to the browbone...i went there initially to get the 217 and the 213 but i ended up not getting them because she said i can use my 224 for everything..
what do you guys think? i was hoping to get the 217 im a bit not sure now.

I apologize that I don't have an answer for you, but I would also like some advice on this same subject. I have the 217, but have been contemplating getting the 224. I know they are similar, but the 224 is, I believe, a bit more tapered with a smaller point. I sometimes wish that I had a brush that was like the 217 but a little finer - is this what the 224 would do for me?

i haven't used the 217, so i apologize as well for not having an answer for you. looks like you've got the 217 and i have got the 224 and we are both wondering if they do the same job but look different! hope this makes sence...

haha, yeah totally. I was lookig at the 2 brushes on the MAC site today though and they do look very different. I also had a MAC MUA do my makeup recently - she used the 224 for basically everything you can use the 217 for. She said she prefers the 224 actually, but finds a use for both of them - basically because the 224 is finer than the 217, so you could use either depending on how thick you want your crease colour to be, for example.

I have the 217 and 224. I reach for my 224 way more, and for all the reasons the MA stated to you. I absolutely love using it in the crease and softening the outer V. And, it's great to use for a wash of color.

I have both the 217 and the 224 and honestly I prefer the 217, the bristles are sturdier. It's great for application and blending.

So, my suggestion is you're missing the 217 and the 213.

isnt the 224 similar to 222? thinking of getting the 222 but i want a more stiffer tapered end. anyone know which is better? thanks

hmm im in a dilemma now, LOL, ok i might purchase these 2 when i go back to mac..maybe add the 187 to them aswell
