I try wearing nude shades of eyeshadow and they look great at first then as the day goes on they cake... I put concealer on my lids and a touch of powder to start but it still happens any suggestions would be awesome!

Do you mean they crease? Sounds like you need an eyeshadow primer like 90% of the people! UD primer potion and Mac paints are popular. UD is more powerfull though. Paints don't work on me as a primer.

It may also be the type of shadow you are using? Not all textures are equal,.. as we mac-addicts can testify to (Veluxe Pearls Rule!) If it happens with all the brands that you use then I would have to agree with Sushi Flower.

Yep - UD Primer Potion as the initial base. Then you can put paints, shadesticks, etc on top of that and work from there. No creasing at all (and I have disgustingly oily lids so everything creases without it).

Paints are the best! Before I was using them, tho, I was using an eyeshadow base by L'Oreal that I found at Walgreens that worked really well.

In fact, you can have nude shades that last forever with some of the Paints! And they're small tubes, but a little goes a very long way! With them, you don't even need the eyeshadow on top of them if you're wanting a kind of nude look.

I use the Lancome Ombre Perfector as a primer which is great since it smoothes but doesn't add a "color" so it doesn't interfere with my e/s colors

This happens to me with Nylon eyeshadow. It's so weird, because it only happens with that colour! And I wear a base! :S
