EyeShadow on my lashes

I know this my be a crazy/Stupid question. But whenever I apply my e/s it gets on my lashes. What suggestion can you all give to get the unwanted e/s off ? I have tred mascara but because I'm not good at applying the stuff there is still some residue left.

Have you tried applying the eyeshadow wet?

Also- you could use the eyeshadow as like a "powder" if you will to make your eyes look thicker

I use a small fluffy brush to remove the e/s in my lashes. Very easy!
