eyeshadow recs

I'm just starting to get into mac and only have a few of the lipglasses (which I love). I mostly wear bare escentuals but want to purchase some mac eyeshadows. I love anything purple. What would be some good eyeshadows to start out with?

Pruples-Mystical Mist (if you can get your hands on it), Nocturnelle, Parfait Amour, Trax (which is sort of hard to work with)
Neutrals-Ricepaper, Vanilla, Kid, Mulch, Cork, Woodwinked
Colors-Steamy, Goldmine, Sumptuous Olive, Flashtrack, Surreal

What colour are your eyes? Maybe we can suggest colours to accentuate them.

My fave purples are
Parfait amour
Plum LE
Violet pigment, Lovely Lily pigment.

My fave highlighters are Phloof, and Nylon

2nd Nocturnelle. I consider it the perfect purple.

Purples.. You should definately get Satellite Dreams, Parfait Amour, Au Contraire(or mystical mist-they are nearly identical)and Nocturenelle. Beautiful Iris is a nice color too, I use it as a highlight, but i also like it with Royal Hue shadestick.
If you get a paint, try Mauvism.. it is my favorite base with any purple eye shadow.
Bordreauxline is my new favorite purple eyeliner.

Purples: Nocturnelle, dove feather, parfait d'amour and star & rockets

colors that makes green eyes pop other then purple:
Swish, cranberry, sushi flower, rice paper

Neutrals: quarry is a taupe with slight plum undertones, just enough purple to make the green POP.
