Eyeshadow to wear with a purple ball dress?

Hallo. So, it's my Leavers' ball next sunday, and I really don't know what to do with my eyeshadow.

My dress is purple, and my shoes are silver, so I don't know what to do for my eyeshadow.

I don't want to match my eyeshadow to either my shoes or my dress, so I'm a bit stuck really.

That's my dress and shoes (obviously not going to be wearing it with tights, but I took those pictures in the winter!). Also, it looks a bit funny in the second picture, because I didn't fix the underskirt underneath!

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

i would suggest dark brown romp maybe? (i think the purple leans towards brown)

Is it too late for a recommendation?

Maybe a bright navy-ish blue color. I'm thinking maybe Moon Flower for the lid, Naval for a little smoke on your lower crease and outer V, Blue Flame for your crease, and maybe Electra for your inner-eye region?

Heh, nope, it's this Sunday. Plenty of time left for recommendations!

I never thought to do a navy blue. Though the only colours I have that you suggested are Electra and Naval blue.
What are decent (MAC) dupes of the other two, that I may have? The blues I own are:

Contrast
Deep Truth
Freshwater
Parrot
Bell Bottom Blue
Mutiny
and then all the lighter blues. They're the darker ones I own.

I did an FOTD before that I thought I could possibly wear. It's Mutiny on the lid, bell bottom blue in the crease and a little bit of Fig.1, though I'm not sure if it's slightly too bright?


Thanks to knoxydoll and anshu too. Greens are a possibility, though I'm not sure I want to go with browns. I'm not a brown-eyeshadow kind of girl!
