F&B doubts

Hello ladies,

Hope everyone is having a good weekend :)
I have a few doubts about MAC foundations, I hope you can help
A few weeks ago I went to the Carnaby St MAC Shop to get a concealer and the lady recommended the Pro Longwear one. She tried on two tones and finally we decided for the NC30 (not sure what the other tone was as she didnt say). While I was there I asked her for a sample of F&B and she gave me a pot with a bit of C2 without trying it on my skin

A couple of weeks after that, I went to the Selfridges counter to get the F&B, the lady there tried on me C2 and N2 to say that the C2 looked too yellow in my jaw/neck line and the N2 looked just nicer (warmer, not so much yellow face). As she suggested the opposite tone from the Carnaby St lady, I asked her about my tone on Pro Longwear Concealer and she said NW25 or 20 maximum but never NC30.
I have been using the F&B on the N2 and it looks very nice, I hope it's really the correct tone and I am not looking like it's not my colour....
Now, all these opposite recommendations make me doubt on which is my real tone... and also I was told by somebody else that if I have a N tone on my face, my concealer always has to be the opposite (so C tones for the concealer), is this true????

Sorry for the mega long essay, I am totally confused on which is my real tone, as every time I go to a MAC shop I get different recommendations.

Thanks

Oh, also which could be the perfect colour to combine with the Shock-A-Holic eyeshadow to do a smokey eye look?

Not necessarily. You want it to match your skin. (That said, if you want to counteract dark undereye circles I'd recommend an NW shade.)
