Face Chart Issues

I have some of the blank face charts, but I have a problem applying the eye colors so they stay and are vivid, as far as color is concerned. Is there something special I need to do?

I personally use those little disposable eye shadow applicators (one that is pointed on one end and like a paddle on the other), if I work on them at home. I don't want to screw my brushes up! A firm brush should pack the color in, but you have to keep adding and blending until you get the intensity you want.

i would print your face charts off on around a 60 pound cardstock paper. the paper is usually more porous, and i find holds the colour FAR better and easier than regular printer paper. i've never had to apply copious amounts of shadow to get bright concentration of colour.

Out of curiosity, how did you get some of those blank face charts? I've been trying to get a hold of the real ones forever.

And does anyone know how to fix this? From the face chart online, when I go to print it out, it comes out gray in the background. I wanted a clear/white background. Does anyone have a "clean" scan of the facechart online?

Wait, are you talking about real ones or ones that were printed from your puter? My suggestion applies to the ones at the counter.

I got some of the "real ones" from a gracious MA at a MAC store. She only gave me a couple of them...didn't know I could print them from somewhere else. Can someone post an address when I can print/find more?
