Hey who draws those beautiful face charts? Does everyone? They look pretty difficult.

The employees of the store do them most of the time. Every once in a great while a trainer may add one to the book just for fun but that's rare at some locations.
They can be diffictult but with practice they get easier. Some stores require that each employee do one for every new launch using the new launch products in order to get their gratis. Some stores designate someone to check the facecharts to make sure the staff is progressing in their skills etc. They sometimes will change the focus of the facechart to make sure everyone can do a perfect lip or make sure eveyone can contour.

Oooo, that's soooo bad! They know better than to screw with our gratis though. I've done tons & tons of face charts, but none for MAC. It was so hard for me to get them done while at the counter. I always did them at home (not using my MAC brushes).
MissStarlight, Basic is so much fun...but be prepared for them to really crack down during one on ones. A lot of things will click and you will be so inspired and excited to work.

Face charts are my one true love! The ones you see at the counter/store are done by the artists that work there, the Halloween ones that were on MACcosmetics.com were created by artists as well.
The looks for different collections are done I THINK by Senior Artists. Here are some that I have done though...

I have a question that might seem silly, but are the face charts done with actual MAC products?

#1 Yes the face charts are done with MAC products although we may have fudged a bit on what was actually used. I have seen sooooo many people lie on the 'product listing' portion. Some things just blend better or give a better look such as using a dark eyeshadow on the place where the lips meet to give some depth/ shadow. Or using something that isn't eyesafe in real life as an eyeshadow on a face chart ie premeditated ccb. We also definitely fudge on what brush was used cause certain brushes don't do well on paper.
