has anyone ever tired practicing on it? i have and i just cant get it to look the way i want. anyone have any tips?

I know just what you mean! I have a few that are not MAC and they seem to work a bit better. I had my brother draw one of me for me. You might want to see about getting one that easier to use. That MAC one freaks me out!

Also next time you are at a counter (any counter) ask if they have any face charts that blank. Sometimes they will be willing to part with one.
If you print them out try using recycle paper or something with texture to help grab the colors.

I have gotten a couple from MAC and they are a pain in the ass. They look so easy to use but they're not.

thanks for that tip zap! yeah i try using bases and stuff and it just doesnt grab right. u know? lol but any ideas on where i can get the textured paper?
