face cleanser & exfoliate questions

I searched and didn't find a thread about this so I'm hoping that there isn't one and that I'm posting this in the correct forum (couldn't decide if it should be under MAC Chat or here, under Recommendations).

For years I was a faithful Mary Kay user but more recently my face stayed oily and my make-up just didn't last. I finally made the jump over to MAC and have been very happy with it.

I'm currently using MAC CremeWash. I really love how it makes my face feel but you can't use it around your eye area (a major bummer for me). I'm wondering if there are any other MAC face cleansers that you CAN use around your eyes without them feeling like they've been set on fire.

ALSO, I'm curious to know what everyones favorite exfoliate product is. And do you use a mask?

Use cleanse off oil to remove eye makeup I also love mac towelletes! I'm currently using Estee Lauder Nutritious and I like it. I use MAC Volcanic Ash exfoliator once a week but unfortunatly it was limited edition. I daily use a pure honey mask for 15 mins after I wash and tone with a Witchhazel toner. The honey makes myskin super soft I warm it up for 8 sec in microwave. I had a terrible allergic reaction to Clinique and this regimen has finally helped it after months of cystic acne! Hth!

I honestly like what I have it's just he issue with getting the CremeWash in my eyes that I can't handle lol I'm so used to being able to use my facial cleanser as an eye make up remover too that I can't stop myself. Otherwise, it's great. It removes all of my make-up and my face feels really nice and clean and smooth. Also, Studio Moisture Fix is fantastic. It just takes a tiny bit and it doesn't make my face oily like other brands have. I'd definitely suggest it AND Prep + Prime.

I LOVE the towelettes too! After playing around with them I realized that I could just use them to remove my eye make-up and then use my CremeWash and I don't feel like I haven't gotten everything off of my face like I felt before. I definitely want to try Cleanse Off Oil though. I've seen several different people mentioon Witchhazel toner. I'm going to have to try to find some locally. I love using a toner and it's the only thing that I "miss" after switching from MaryKay. This was helpful. Thank you!

I sue Cetaphil to wash my face and it works great... recommended by my dermatologist. I have mild rosacea and suffer from breakouts so.. My moisturizer hands down is Clinique Moisture surge.. I love love

Eye cream I use one from the Kerstin Florian brand.. it's expensive but it works ;-)

To take off my make up I really like Clinique's take the day off

Personally I think that Clinque is a great way to go for skin care.. I am also new to Lush.. My DH and I bought today and exfoliating body soap so.. let's see how it goes.. they have a lot of products for the face and they look and smell delicious!! LUSH Fresh Handmade Soaps and Natural Cosmetics!

Totally agree with you about Lush. It's amazing. I'm actually considering buying some of their face products (I've only used the bath stuff). Thanks!!
