fake 187?

ok i bought one on ebay, and the end of it says JAPAN.. its like etched on there... and the fibers are uneven... it came in a sleeve with a upc code though, so thats what leads me to believe it's real... but do MAC brushes say JAPAN on the ends of them? thanks!!

My 187 (purchased at the Pasadena store) says Japan on the end.

ok i read up on it.. and caffn8me said an authentic one tapers right before it goes into the ferrule... and mine does, so it's authentic i think.. the seller's feedback is great too...
