false lashes->most natural looking?

do you think it makes a difference what brand they are? i see a lot of people using mac #7, but also some that use d/s brands. is it mostly technique?
i got a generic d/s variety, but the lashes just dont look natural...theyre too dense so to speak. i tried thinning them out a little, but it still looks odd... i want to wear these for a major event coming up but its so frustrating!

I've never really used lashes but I've seen #7s on people and they look really natural...

I'm planning on getting some falsies and i'm getting #7 MAC ones cos they look the most natural- if they are too long, you can always cut them and they still look quite fine..... Technique is definitely really important too. If you get MAC ones, get a MA to teach you how to use it first, cos they are quite tricky- like you need to know how much glue to use, how much pressure to apply onto them, where to put them to give the most natural look etc....
hope you enjoy the ones you get!

you definitely will NOT be able to keep full strip ones on overnight!

i found out the hard way when i was so zonked after an opera performance that i came home and fell asleep before taking off my makeup. in the morning, the lashes were off and mangled and my bedsheets were a mess!

i NEVER did that again!

individual ones can be put on with a semi-permanent glue that will keep them in place for several days. it isn't very good for your natural lashes, but they do stay on.

If you look after them well enough, people say you can use then around 3-4 times! SO a really good deal for the amount your paying for. Just make sure you don't put mascara on them or defect them in any way. I know people who stick mascara on them to give extra lenght or something, but what it does is it jsut mucks up the lashes and is incredible hard to remove= DON't do it then!

If you aren't used to working with falsies, I recommend playing around with the drugstore ones first. Ardell & Andrea both make some really great lashes. Ardell 53 and 110 are very good.

i agree with you cruella- at least if you screw them up you won't feel as guilty dishing out big bucks for them
