It was so hard for me to do at first too!!! With the glue, less is more, get as little as possible on the whole lash band. I like to make a little ball of glue on the back of my hand and lightly sweep the lash band over the ball of glue. Try putting them on when your eye is closed, that can help keep you from poking your eye. In the end it simply takes a lot of practice! Good luck!

It's one of those practice makes perfect things. Things that messed me up when I first started was:

1. not curling/bending the lashes enough before applying (they would be all straight)
2. putting on too much glue (like the girl said above less is more)
3. not waiting until it got tacky
4. using cheap glue. Duo/Ardell from Sally's really does make a difference. The ones that come with the pack sucksss so much don't use it girl lol say no.

Like I said just keep practicing, and keep doing it. I also like to use the end of a makeup brush to position it and push it down. Sephora has this lash placement thing that I used to use as well.

everything she said and put eyeliner on..so if it isn't exactly perfect you won't be able to tell

don't put them on using the mirror in the bathroom. the countertop gets in the way. you want to use a wall mirror that you can get up close to and tilt your head up. that way you are forced to look down and can get right to the lashbase. or if you have a small vanity mirror you can set on a counter and sit in front of. looking down into the mirror also allows you to see the base of your lashes.

plus, while looking down your eyes are more closed and you risk less eye poking. i wouldn't suggest you close your eyes like someone mentioned as it crinkles the lashbed and your fake lashes won't lay right. plus you have more chance of glueing your top and bottom lids together.

and practice, practice, practice.

It' not easy at all to apply lashes and you need some training and experience to get a good looking result. Don't give up when you don't get it right the first time, try again and you'll see some progress. Another option is to ask a friend or your mum to apply them, it's much more easier that way.

I had SOOOOO many issues when I first started with falsies...I looked a hot mess, let me tell you...wooo! LOL Little random things that help me out; once I get the lashes on, and they're sticking pretty well, I kind of smoosh them down with my thumb and index finger...just grab your top lashes (and the falsies!) all the way down by the roots, and SMOOSH! It might sound kinda stupid...but it helps me make sure the band is as far down against my lashline as possible. Also, I use a liquid or gel liner for my top lids when I use them...preferably black...it blends the band in so your eyes aren't saying "HI! Like my false lashes????" :-D ...and lastly, TONS of mascara...it helps really pull out length in your actual lashes, and also helps blend your lashes with the false ones, so there's not a huge, obvious difference. Kinda makes them mesh together a bit. HTH!

YES!!!

use slanted tweezers (not pointed-OUCH!) and grasp the middle of the false lashes. set them in the center of your lashes, then grab the outter lashes and set those, then the inner lashes.

using tweezers keeps your hand out of the way so it doesn't block your view.
