Hello,

Do you think it's a bad idea to wear falsies with glasses? I really want to get some ( i have pretty small eyes...im oriental) but as i don't have contacts im a bit unsure...do any of you do this? Im not sure if the eyelashes will brush up against the lens..if you know what i mean lol.

Thanks,
xox

I think it depends on the glasses and the length of the falsies. I have pretty long lashes, and the biggest problem with the glasses is that it gets
dirty pretty easy with the blinking

Thanks Lia, Yeah i guesso...i have very very short lashes so i wanted a bit of oomph! i guess i might buy some cheap ones and experiment, then make a MAC purchase!

I find that even simply curling and putting on mascara will make my lashes brush against the lens every time I blink! It depends on your glasses though..

It depends on your glasses, the shape of your face, and the length and curvature of the lashes. Where glasses sit on your face depends on the shape and position of your ears and nose. My mom always thinks my glasses are sliding down my nose when in fact they're in a perfectly stable position, that's just where they sit!

Sometimes that'll cause the lenses to sit far enough away from your eyes to prevent conflict with your lashes.

But I agree, experiment with the cheap stuff before buying anything more expensive. Although there are cheap falsies out there that are comparable in quality to the more expensive brands. Someone posted in the "Hauls" forum in the past day or so, a haul exclusively made up of falsies. It was all cheap, from Sally's Beauty Supply, and looked awesome.

I thinkit would be pretty unlikely for them not to rub on your glasses and cause that lovely smear affect.
I don't have the longest lashes and I have this problem in general and it drives me nuts. God especially at school where I wear safety glasses and I constatly have to whipe the smears off grrr.
Anyway I think smearage would be nearly impossilbe with falsies

I don't think a smear effect will be an issue, considering that you don't put mascara on false eyelashes in the first place.

Try individual false lashes rather than a strip. You can still kick up your lashes and get a doll effect, but they're less likely to slip and hit your lenses.
