Fashion Fair Tender Brown wearer

Hi WOC family,

I am interested in purchasing various cosmetics (foundation, eyeshadow, lipsticks/gloss) for a relative that lives outside the US.

My cousin stated almost impossible for find cosmetics for her complexion (Fashion Fair Tender Brown foundation) in Panama

Can you provide me with some alternative foundations (department store & drug store) to Tender Brown, along with complementary eyeshadow & lipsticks/glosses.

I am attempting to make a gift basket for her and need some desperate advice

If she wears fashion fair all the time I would stick their blushes, they have some really pretty blushes. You should try a website called beautynoir.com they have brands that are geared toward WOC (Iman, Interface, Flori Roberts)

Thanks for the info..but I am attempting for find cosmetic color substitutes. Panama is not WOC friendly.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Are yoo trying to find specific brands or specific products?

I'd say send her a lot of different cheapie foundations and let her blend to find the right shade, or go to the fashion fair counter and get a sample of her color and then take it around until you find other foundation matches. L'oreal's HIP foundations are on clearance at Rite Aid. I also think that most of HIP eyeshadows duos would look good. That way she can get a nice variety of colors for not a lot of money.

Blushes - MAC Raizin, Ambering Rose, Plum Foolery - they look good on most WOC

eye shadows - Amber Lights, Woodwinked, Bronze, Expensive Pink, Embark, Ricepaper, brown down

Powder - send her an MSFN

Lip glosses - Drugstore - Milani Baby Doll,
MAC- lychee luxe, shockolate, pink karat, oh baby,

To braidey: Yes I am trying to find various brands. Although, I would like to send mostly MAC products, as you know, they are costly..so i am searching out for drug store brands. mainly a drug store substitute for Tender Brown liquid foundation along with eyeshadows and lipglosses for her complexion.

For drugstore brands I would use:
Milani--eyeshadows
Black Opal--lip products, foundations, and eyeshadows
Black Radiance--bronzers, blushes
Posner--bronzers
Loreal HIP--eyeshadows, lipglosses, and lipsticks
