I really like Art Deco's e/s primer. I buy it here in Europe. I don't know if this is available in the US. Urban Decay Primer Potion gets a lot of good reviews too. I think its good but prefer Art Deco.

I love Two Face First Base. Its a silvery gold lipgloss texture. I can put on my eyeshadow and it looks brighter and its not going anywhere. It won't come off on glasses,etc...I have a 13 hour shift in a humid environment and six hours of commuting. All my makeup dissapears but my eyeshadow looks perfecly fresh. I have used Urban Decay but it made my lids dry and itchy and dulled the shadow down. I use this base as a highlighter, and also in the middle of my lips.
When I need a contrasting color under a shadow I use a NARS creme and get the most amazing holographic look. Sometimes I need extra reinforcement above my eyecrease and I use a soft thick pencil (Rimmel) and a brown pigment ontop of the pencil for a Stevie Nicks look. (She has amazing eyes-and Betty Davis and Marlena Dietrich did their eyes like this as well)

I use ArtDeco. It's way better than paints, because it doesn't mess with the texture/finish of the eyeshadow.

I've tried UDPP and MAC paints, but I much prefer Smashbox's lip and lid primer.

Lip primer on one end and lid primer on the other.

For me its UDPP esepecially if you suffer from oily lids, it also really brings out the colour in most darker and mid toned e/s.

I totally agree!!!! UDPP is da bomb.

Works especially nice on my oily lids. (I use a concealer brush to apply it more smoothly and eavenly.) This base gives my loose e/s (and any eyeliner) something more substantial to cling to than bare skin or foundation/powder.

UDPP and i use it from lashline to brow and then if i want my colors to pop i'll use a colored shadestick or paint pot on the lid.

Just picked up UDPP last week after seeing it listed on almost every FOTD that I looked at.

Holy sh-t! How did I live without it???? My shadow looks the same at 8p as it did when I applied it at 7a. Can't beat that.

Color me happy.
