Fergie using MAC in her new video!!

Ladies & Gents, I think what most of us are fearing might be coming true. If rumor has it that Fergie is gunna be the new spokesmodel for Viva Glam, then it all seems real b/c she's using a crap load of MAC stuff in her new video for the song Clumsy! You see her holding a MAC compact at one point, and in another point, you see her reach for a lipgelee in a traincase full of other lipgelees and lipglasses and other MAC stuff too!! (sound familiar?? it's just like how u see Eve using MAC in her videos!)

Oh come on I don't think she will misrepresent MAC and/or Viva Glam. I think she's great and hopefully will do a great job supporting Viva Glam.

I have her cd, like it but I wasn't sure about her and the whole Viva Glam thing. But I agree w. ^ I think she'd be alright promoting MAC. Plus people who watch her videos, like her music, see the product placements may check out MAC if they've not ever before. All about the marketing and getting MAC's name out there!

Has anyone ever thought that maybe Gwen has been approached but she may have rejected? At least if Fergie IS going to be the new spokesperson then she is doing it out of good will and doing it for charity, i give huge props to any celeb who would give their time for charity, no matter what their look might be.

Not cool. Seriously. Her morals are screwed up beyond all comparison, her eyebrows are disgusting, and most of all she PALES in comparison to Eve and Dita. No joke. I boycotted Fergie a long time ago, anything she represented I never buy anymore. At least with her name and face on it. Viva Glam might be an exception though, because it's to raise money for AIDS. Hmm.

At least she'll make Dita and Eve look better, if that's even possible.

I didn't even notice Fergie using MAC in her new video. I'll have to go back and check that out.

Truth be told, Fergie isn't my choice for Viva Glam but so what. There are alot of people that don't like her and there are alot of people who do. Everyone's got their opinion. I'm sure there have been people who worked on the Viva Glam campaign that people didn't like. Some people might not have liked Elton John because he's gay. Other people may not like Dita because they feel she's a glorified stripper. People might not like Lil Kim because she's vulgar. Who gives a damn really. Fergie will do Viva Glam and then next year it will be someone else.

yea i like the video too. and i bet she IS the new spokesperson, because MAC was plugged in her video a little too much, lol. i dont really have a problem with her. i just don't think she's that pretty ... she looks kinda old even

Not sure what you mean by her morals. Do you mean the fact that she has admitted to being an addict and has since turned her life around? She should be given credit for that.

Let's face it none of MAC's spokesmodels are perfect. Eve was just recently busted for DUI, Dita is a burlesque performer, etc.

What I'm trying say here is that unless you are perfect you shouldn't be criticizing other people's morals - especially people you don't know.

I am hijacking this thread back inthe direction it needs to go.

I really am not onboard with the Fergie does Viva Glam thing either,.. I'd rather see Kate Beckinsale and Angela Basset and Lucy Liu rocking it out for some beauty diversity,.. but Viva Glam is a charity and if she is willing to support that and use her "fame" to get it out there,.. then so be it,.. and here's a thought,.. Let's all thank GOD and MAC that they aren't making her the Icon collection,.. or at least they better not. To me Icon spells a more long term seat on the Fame Bus.

I'm not a huge Fergie supporter but I am like a Fergie cheerleader in that I'm like girl come on! I think it's cuz she's mixed and so am I. Recently, she's made an effort to not look so clownish but more natural and pretty. Check her out on the cover of Allure, she looks really pretty there. Her Seventeen cover was BAD!! She's got a cute man, good friends, etc. I agree when a previous poster said that at least she's not doing an Icon collection. I really wish they would have someone like Alicia Keyes, Eva Mendez, Lucy Lu, Ziyi Zhang, or even someone like Amy Lee.

Gwen would have killed it though!!

Biggest question though...what color is the new Viva Glam??
